Rich Girl Habits I’ve Adopted Since Becoming Unapologetically Wealthy

Let’s get one thing clear: being rich isn't just about the size of your bank account — it's about how you live, what you prioritise, and how confidently you own your space in the world.

Becoming unapologetically wealthy wasn’t an overnight glow-up. It was a deliberate decision to stop playing small, stop shrinking myself to make others comfortable, and start living the kind of life I used to think was “for other people.” Spoiler: it’s not. It’s for you, too.

Here are the Rich Girl Habits I’ve proudly embraced — and how they’ve completely changed my life.

1. Pilates, Gym, and Treating My Body Like a Million-Dollar Asset

This body? She’s the one running the show.
So I invest in her like she’s the CEO of a Fortune 500 company. Because — newsflash — she is.

Pilates twice a week. Gym three times. Not to punish myself, but to feel strong, energised, and grounded. Because wealthy women know: health is wealth. And no, that’s not just an inspirational Pinterest quote — it’s a survival strategy.

I don’t wait until I’m burnt out to look after myself. Movement, nourishing food, rest — they’re baked into the plan, not tacked on when I hit breaking point.

2. Two Annual Holidays — Because Rest Is Productivity

I don’t do hustle culture.
I do strategy, rest, and well-timed getaways with a carry-on full of linen and absolutely no laptop.

I take two real holidays a year, minimum. Not guilt-ridden “I’ll just check my emails quickly” breaks — actual, phone-off, brain-on-vacation holidays.

Because you can’t pour from an empty cup. And women? We’ve been told for too long that rest is earned. No. Rest is required. And wealthy women make space for it, on purpose.

3. I Bought a Beach House — and I Didn’t Wait Until It Was “Practical”

This one felt big. Scary. Exciting.
I bought a beach house.

Not because it was the next sensible step. But because I could. Because I wanted somewhere that felt like freedom. Like joy. Like the full-body yes that your soul screams when you let yourself want more.

And here’s the truth:
You don’t build wealth just to sit on it.
You build it to create a life that lights you up.

4. I Invest. I Don’t Just Save.

Savings accounts are cute for emergencies.
But if you want to build real wealth? You need to get your money working harder than you do.

I invest — regularly, confidently, and in alignment with my goals.
ETFs, shares, property, my business, and yes — my super (more on that in a sec).

Because while the broke version of me hoarded cash “just in case,” the wealthy version of me builds assets “just in case I want to buy a vineyard in Italy one day.”

You can’t out-save inflation. But you can outsmart it.

5. I Max Out My Super — For Me and the Tax Perks

Want to know one of the smartest rich girl habits I’ve picked up?
I actively contribute to my superannuation.

It’s not sexy, but it’s strategic. Super contributions (especially concessional ones) come with some of the best tax advantages around — and your future self will thank you profusely for it.

It’s long-term wealth. It’s future freedom. It’s sipping cocktails at 65 without wondering if you can afford to turn the heater on.

6. I Have a House Cleaner — and Zero Guilt About It

Here’s something I used to feel awkward admitting: I pay someone else to clean my house.

Now? I shout it from the rooftops.
Because time is a currency, and mine is valuable. Every hour I spend NOT scrubbing a toilet is an hour I can invest in my business, my wellbeing, or my relationships.

Wealthy women delegate. They don’t do it all. They don’t want to do it all. And frankly? They shouldn’t have to.

So What’s the Secret?

There isn’t one.
No magic formula. No trust fund fairy dust.

Just a decision.
To stop being afraid of money. To stop making yourself smaller.
To stop waiting until the kids are grown, or the debt is gone, or you “feel ready.”

And start living like the wealthy woman you’re becoming — today.

Because unapologetically wealthy doesn’t mean flashy.
It means clear. Intentional. Powerful.
And it starts with how you treat your time, your body, your space, your goals, and yes — your money.
